Much needed vacation

This is my much needed time off! :( I've been stressed out with work and with family matters that i'm dealing with lately. So what have i been doing lately? cooking! tehehehe. Yup, i'm experementing! plus the fack that commodities here is much cheaper than in manila. for tonight, i'll be cooking sinigang sa miso.

so what did you get this christmas? as for me i got a cap, DVD(a date with ted hamilton), pillow, scented candle, starbucks mug (my favorite), desk lamp, cookies, and a lava lamp. it really pays off when you are good to people. I'm still waiting for my two kumpare's to give me a domain name and 6 months web hosting...tehehehehe

i'm quite engrossed with my new found toy (canon ixus 30) right now. I've been taking shots of almost anything that interest me, officemates, food, objects, flowers etc. And i'm still trying to figure out some of the settings particularly the exposure and iso speed though i still don't get it..tehehehe.

Anyway, i found a tool that can help you resize your pictures in an instant without using any photo editor.As you can see i'm using Large format (2048 x 1536)in taking my pictures so it's space consuming once you started saving it. the average size of 1 picture is around 1.5 MB. This tool that i'm referring to is photo gadget ,s a free tool designed to eliminate the use of complicated and expensive software in such a simple task as resizing pictures. Its purpose is to make the process of resizing many pictures at once incredibly easy.

Digital Christmas Gift

Bought 2 digital camera last weekend, one for my bro and one for me. Electroworld and camerahaus offered a Zero percent installment plan on all major cards. my brother purchased the Canon powershot A410 which he plans to used to his bar or "pancitan" and as for me i got the Canon Ixus 30. I should have bought Canon Ixus 30 two months ago but my lil brother asked for a TV for his birthday. The whole weekend we spent familiarizing ourselves with our new found toy, and hopefully it can be a profitable hobby. we also plan to come up with our own photo blog. Since i'm a big fan of digital macro, our first lesson was macro and close-up shots. And i'm quite satisfied with the results. We already have 3 pictures printed and one of which is displayed in my pad.

Early Christmas Gift

an officemate of mine offered me a pitbull and the best thing about it is that it has a cage, papers and shots --complete package ...Isn't that great! an early christmas gift! The only major problem i have right now is that dogs are not allowed in my Pad. Too bad :( But the good thing is, another officemate offered his place since he's also getting the same gift. hehehe, i'm very much blessed with generous officemates.. I already have a name for the dog, it's "kiba".Taken from one of the characters in Naruto anime. Now i'm really decided to move-out next year and look for another apartment.

Lately i've been asking our HR about info's on how to apply for a housing loan and how much i can avail. My boss also told me that if i'm going to buy a house it is more economical to buy those repossessed house & Lot from the banks rather acquiring a house from realtors. Weekend getaway at Miramonte

If you are looking for a private place to celebrate any occasion or a weekend getawy i would recommend Miramonte Subdivision at Pansol, Laguna. You see Miramonte Subdivision has the most private pools in pansol--as far as i know. If you are familiar with Pansol, Laguna it's right infront of Montevista Resort. Last night, my office friend celebrated his birthday at Bernadette's resort. I think it cost him 4K for the whole 12 hours. So what are the amenities. 2 swimming pools (1 kiddie and 1 adult), 2 bedrooms with aircon, 2TB, veranda, garage , dining area and kitchen. and for additional 500 pesos you can also rent a videoke machine. We had a blast singing since most of the new songs are there like PBB theme song, Sugarfree, hale, etc. aahh, what a great way to relax... Now if you happen to plan a small gathering try to check this place.

Was able to watched Harry Potter and the goblets of fire last night @ Glorietta 4. Though I'm not a big fan of harry potter, err let me correct that, right after seeing katie Leung or Cho chang in the movie hmmm i can't wait to see the fifth movie.

Thinnest Wallet

Finally a wallet that could hold 30 credit cards and yet it won't ruin your ass. Lately , m getting worried of the increasing cards i'm putting inside my wallet. it's already 1 inch thick. I have 4 credit cards, 4 ATM cards, drivers license, ID cards (SSS, Maxicare, Alumni card, MS card) ,discount card and calling cards. For $17.95 that is already a good price, to bad it is not available in the stores. This one will definitely be on my Christmas wishlist which i'm not yet done listing. Oh, I hope someone will be kind enough to give me this as a gift.

While i was waiting for my turn in our photocopier i was scanning an old newspaper and it caught my attention that more and more vehicles are being stolen. Geez, Additional reason for me not to pursue on buying a car, first reason is the booming price of gasoline. Though i only plan of buying a 1.3 pre-owned car, but still it might get stolen. I remember an episode that i watched last night from Travel Gear in travel & living channel. It's about a car equipped with GPS and if in any chance your car get stolen you can track it by going to a certain website and it will give you the exact whereabouts of your vehicle. Pretty neat huh, how i wished we could have that same infrastructure here to aid our policeforce in seizing carnappers.

There's also a similar technology that also uses GPS in order to relay and track information about a vehicle on request. Cars fitted with the device (that looks like a cell phone) are plugged into a secure network that can track its location in a matter of seconds. you can read the whole story here

ever wonder what is still wrong even though you are done scanning your computer with anti-virus and anti-spywares and yet the problem is still persistent?! You still have those pesky toolbars, programs are still running without you knowing and your computer is still too slow to process. Sometimes, you have this red desktop that you cannot change even you tried going to the control panel. I've had my share of tinges today

I felt a tinge of nostalgia
I remembered you in the middle of taking my morning shower. I remembered the adys we used to spend, the mornings I woke up next to you, the passionate kisses we shared and the secret glances we exchanged across a crowded room. I remembered your smile, your eyes and the way we held each other. It was like we had a language all to our own, a communication form no one lese could ever know about.

I felt a tinge of Anger
I went to work and saw you, talking to me like nothing happened, like everything we shared meant nothing, all because you suddenly decided tomove on without me. I felt the sharp pang of rejection, hurt and remorse. How could I have allowed myself to get hurt this bad?

I felt a tinge of sadness.
I was sitting across you at the table during launch and I suddenly felt melancholic. I mourned the friendship and the oppurtunity that was lost because you failed to see the future for all its possibilities. You never realized the beauty of things to come.

I felt a tinge of fear.
I looked at you this afternoon while we were having another of our casual conversations and secretly asked myself if I can still find love again, and if i can still love again, after you have hurt me so bad> I am afraid for my heart because i feel there's a chance I may never get over you. I am afraid i will forever live on your memory.

All these tinges put together made up a collage of complex emotions I feel every time our paths would cross. I don't know when this will end; all i know is that you have made me feel a whole continuum of emotions I have never felt before. I did care about you, just sadly, I have come to realize it was real, but only for my part.

I hope tomorrow's tinges will be a bit better. Until then, i will have to survive on my own

I've been hooked up in watching anime's lately particularly Naruto. Yup, Uzumaki Naruto who dreams of becoming the ultimate ninja in Konoha Village or in other words becoming a "hokage". Currently there are 159 Anime episodes that you can download through Limewire, torrent or through the websites. You can go to Narutopride.com or narutocentral.com. Try it! and believe me you are going to enjoy it.

Last saturday i was in Comic Alley looking for Naruto custome. I was planning to buy naruto jacket but sadly they are out of stock...too bad. So i end up buying naruto keychain. hopefully next payday i can buy Naruto sleeping cap.

Wow, it's been months since i last updated this blog. I don't know why i wasn't able to blog religiously unlike years ago wherein i used to have my own website. Maybe because i don't have the motivation anymore --oh, c'mon...MOVE ON WILL YOU! that's me talking to myself. hehehe.

My friends keep on telling me to open a blog again so that they can be updated on what's going on with mylife (read--Boring life) since we don't see that often. But, i think they have a point, i need something that will make me busy..

Trying to move on...

Yup i'm still on the process of moving on...I don't know how to start, how to forget...I wish i have that cool device in the movie "paycheck" wherein you can zap those memories that you want to forget. But do i really want to do that? How i wish forgetting someone is as easy as erasing all your text messages on your inbox or as easy as pressing the delete key on your keyboard. but it isn't, especially when you saw yourself spending the rest of your life with her. But not every love story has a happy ending. So what do i fear right now? I know it's hard for a man to admit this but i fear that i won't be able to love again the same way that i used to. But let's hope not.
